Cedar Wreath Care
Fresh-cut cedar wreaths are naturally long-lasting, fragrant, and easy to care for. With proper care, your wreath will stay beautiful for several weeks.
HOW LONG THEY LAST
Outdoor Display (recommended): Typically 4–6 weeks. Cool temperatures help keep the greenery fresh, and in damp or consistently cold weather, they may last even longer.
Indoor Display: Usually 2–3 weeks. Indoor heat causes greenery to dry out faster, so placement matters.
CARE TIPS
Give your wreath a light mist every few days. Think “gentle spa day,” not “rainstorm.” Spraying the back of the wreath helps the stems absorb more water.
Hang it somewhere out of direct sunlight to slow down drying.
Keep it away from fireplaces, heater vents, or anywhere that feels like summer.
If strong wind is expected outdoors, move the wreath to a sheltered area to prevent breakage.
If you’re storing it before hanging, keep it flat in a cool, dark place.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Some light needle shedding is normal.
The fresh cedar scent is strongest at first and will soften over time.
Greenery can be composted or used as mulch after the season.
Each wreath is handmade with fresh local greenery, so natural variation in shape and fullness is normal.
We hope you enjoy your wreath through the holiday season!
